The primary purpose of the role:
Work on brand projects and contribute to the creation of digital experiences. Manage work efficiently, generate ideas collaboratively with the creative team, and must have a passion for content.  The Strategy Executive will work with the Strategy Manager and assist on different projects across multiple platforms and of different types. Projects could range from design, content, social media, strategy etc. 



Major responsibilities & deliverables:

A) Creative Brief Development:
Partner with Account Managers to transform client briefs into strong creative briefs for our creative leads, taking research, information and insights and distilling them down into a singular strategic idea for creative teams to operate from.

B) Research and Insights:

  • Primary Research: concept, write discussion guides and facilitate focus groups, man-on-the-street interviews, surveys, customer segmentation studies, etc. as necessary; manage 3rd party vendors for the above. 

  • Secondary Research: Be resourceful. Find unique, unexpected insights and stories about our clients, our consumers and the way the world is changing around them.

  • Keep up to speed with innovations and interesting movements in the tech, digital, and new media space, identifying opportunities for learning and sharing with our clients and prospects. This includes developing a deep understanding of the media habits of today’s youth (12-18) and Millennial consumers (18-29).

  • Synthesize the above into simple, actionable, inspirational strategies that our creative teams can “push off” of and our clients can clearly understand.

C) Communications Planning, Insights and Brand Strategy Leadership:

  • For select clients, lead all high-level, long-term brand strategy and evolution, medium-term communications and campaign planning and shorter-term engagement strategies to accomplish communication objectives. 

  • Develop opportunities for proactive brand and communication strategy workshops to evolve client thinking, brand positioning/purpose and align on business/campaign goals. 

  • Participate and consult in all consumer research and brand/social/sales analytics conversations, ensuring our work is always aligned with the metrics of our clients.

 

D) Grow Strategy Offering:

  • Proactively work with Account Management to analyze our client’s businesses and needs and recommend revenue-driving opportunities for strategic projects; develop proposals (with Brand Management) for the work, including processes, tools, deliverables and timeframes.

  • Run research and strategy projects for clients including (but not limited to): competitive analysis, Brand DNA creation, brand positioning, brand tone of voice/ verbal identity and Brand Book creation. 

E) Contribute to the Overall Company Growth Strategy:

  • Help grow the Albatrot’s client arsenal by working on new business development, and assisting in prospecting, contacting and pitching new business opportunities.

  • Develop industry analyses and thinking across innovative platforms, agency models and client needs to keep Albatrot on the leading edge of the agency world. 

F) Performance & Influencer Marketing:

  • Plan and execute Paid Search, Display, Social, & Shopping Campaigns

  • Utilize Analytics to analyze and monitor the effectiveness of various aspects of the campaign such as community, traffic, conversations and engagements, leads and conversions

  • Develop benchmarks for measuring the impact of digital and social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and change strategies to maximize results over time

  • Map, acquire & negotiate with influencers and vendors as per brief requirements

G) Constant Upskilling:
Develop skills by constantly working on different projects and taking up courses that can aid your functioning the role

Requirements:

  • This is a starter role and requires 0-2 years of experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a commerce or communications discipline preferred, but others are welcome to apply with equivalent experience.

  • Work experience (or internship) in a related industry/role not mandatory but adds value. 

  • A strong track record of performance through academics, sports, or any other equivalent activity.

  • A love for all things digital.

  • Work and play well with others; Albatrot is a small family that is continuously growing and fosters a highly collaborative environment.

  • Should be social media savvy to learn new techniques as they appear on the ever-shifting digital landscape.

  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of analytical data into actionable information.

  • Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace applications.

  • Have hands-on knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, & Google Adwords is a plus.
