The primary purpose of the role:
 

  • Responsible for copywriting, and creating the overall content strategy

  • Staying up to date with client industry trends and audience through research


Major responsibilities & deliverables:
 

Copywriting: 

  • Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (social media, blogs, newsletters etc) and different tone of voice for different clients

  • Collaborate with designers and other members of the team on different projects for social media, websites, banners, etc. 

  • Edit and proofread copy as needed

  • Source images and other content 

  • Think across different media and different digital formats and write copy accordingly

  • Use SEO principles to maximise content reach on websites and blogs 
     

Content Strategy: 

  • Driving overall digital content for clients under management

  • Translating client objectives to strategy across digital media (on various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram, Mobile) 

  • Leading client engagements (especially during pitches) to deliver content ideas 

  • Monitor Digital & New Media industry trends and competitor offerings to identify potential business avenues and improve current offerings

  • Conceptualise marketing campaigns for different client briefs and objectives. Campaigns that include the use of different marketing strategies and tools. 

  • Strong focus on coming up with innovative media campaigns and ideas for the client.

  • Showcasing case studies internally within the organization which might have / might not have been used by the client which could help in pitching a similar concept to other clients.

  • Examine executions, study results and improve/tweak 

  • Review Key Analytics (community traffic, etc) to identify a trend that has worked / not worked for the client
     

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a copywriter or related role 

  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills

  • Experience with SEO 

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

     

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years
